Amanda McTyre - Office Manager

Amanda began her veterinary career in 2000 at Neel Veterinary Hospital, a 24-hour emergency hospital in Oklahoma City. She started as a client relations specialist and within that year moved up to manage the reception desk. After 6 years at Neel Veterinary hospital, her husband’s job relocated the family to San Antonio where she promptly was employed at Hill Country Animal Hospital in Helotes for 2 years. After a brief stint as a client relations specialist Amanda was than promoted to supervisor.

Amanda missed emergency medicine and joined the I-10 Pet Emergency team as the hospital's Office Manager in 2007. She had just completed her AAHA (American Animal Hospital Association) reception certification and is anxious to begin her studies in Practice Management. Her family includes her husband Ben, teenage sons Daniel and Alex and her other kids: dogs – Josie and Penelope and cats – Cloud, Skye, Bubba and Elphaba.
